The Belice Valley on Sicily is an area affected by a devastating earthquake in 1968. After lengthy and controversial reconstructions of the previous cities, these changes still challenge the social and economic life of the communities. The short series was shot during the Sicily Photo Masterclass in June 2022 and is part of the collective project called Fracture that draws attention to different aspects of this changing place.
